Harrah's Entertainment


Harrah's Entertainment (NYSE:HET - News) shares added 14% after the company received a proposal to go private at $81 per share. Shares of other gaming companies also got a lift on the news, including Boyd Gaming (NYSE:BYD - News), which also announced plans for a property swap with Harrah's, Pinnacle Entertainment (NYSE:PNK - News) and MGM Mirage (NYSE:MGM - News).
