Avoid some mistakes will give you more time to work hard and bring faster better results to your online business. The following is a list -not necessarily in order of importance- of some mistakes SEO professionals often make when they are making a keyword research.

1. Think that most popular keyword is the most profitable one: There are people working in SEO thinking that popular keywords are the most profitable and it could be a real disappointment for some of them. The more popular is a keyword -the most demanding one- the less is its value. There are keywords such as BlackBerry that are very popular but its demand is huge and you probably won't get back the results you are expecting using them.

2. Most profitable keywords is going to work with me in the same way: If I found the nanotechnology is a profitable keyword because my friend's blog is using this keyword I can't think that it is going to bring me the same results that is giving to my friend.

3. Forget that popular keywords increase your level of competition: When you are using very popular keywords such as Michael Jackson you should know that there are thousands websites about Michael Jackson and your level of competition is very high. Even though, you should also identify the number of ads and products related to this keyword.

4. Overuse popular keywords in my content: Once you have your keywords, you should include them -within your web content- properly, so that you don't abuse of your keyword.

5. Underestimate sites only using a specific keyword: I firmly believe that your best weapon for rank better and faster is working is micro niche sites that use a very specific keyword.
